WISE is partnering with the Ottawa Arts Council to bring you the 2023 Youth Arts Event. This poetry and multi-art competition invites youth between the ages of 13-18 to submit a piece on violence in any form (gender based, gang, political, verbal, neighbourhood, racial, …) from the perspective of “Survivor”. Submissions can be in the form of poetry, spoken word, as well as other art forms such as dance, vocal, instrumental, and visual arts.

Winners and participants will be awarded cash prizes at our celebratory event!

You can register your participation by emailing elsydavid@wiseottawa.ca with your name and the art form you will be submitting (poem/dance/visual art…) 

Submissions can be sent to info@wiseottawa.ca by October 30th, 2023.
